Istanbul, like its’ inhabitants, exists between two continents, with work and home, lover and beloved, night out and breakfast the next day on different sides of the Bosphorus Straight. This has been home for me the past nine years.

Lots of people ask me, “Why Turkey?”

Turkey is about the size of Texas but its geography and history are far-ranging, the food is delicious, and the people are incredibly generous and friendly.

Traveling across Turkey, you will find yourself running your fingers across Seljuk-carved wooden doors on the steppes of Anatolia. You will hike through Mediterranean forests along the Lycian Way, stumbling upon ancient tombs at midday and swimming off your hike at sunset. You will…
